Pamela Kogen presents recent work from a series that incorporates and transforms utilitarian textiles into dimensional paintings and sculptural objects. The artist employs discarded linen napkins  and cotton handkerchiefs  as a foundation for a sculptural painting, transforming the banal into works that explore the ephemeral qualities of color, light and space.
Pamela Kogen received her BFA from Parson’s School of Design (NYC), is a resident of Princeton and works out of a studio in Hopewell.
