I studied painting and drawing at The Art Students League under Sidney Dickinson and Robert Beverly Hale in the 60’s and then continued to paint out in the landscape until the present. Since 1981 I have been very fortunate to have been teaching at The ASL. But the same old stuff rolls on in the world! The various religious, political and economic systems are dominating, divisive and inflexible. The rich build on the backs of the less fortunate. Many are left impoverished with no helping hand and can be disenfranchised, imprisoned or executed by laws of the land. The other part of life, the arts and sciences, speaks directly and openly to inner feelings and can lead to understanding and a broad acceptance of what is just, new and different.
