Arlene is a painter and sculptor that spent the majority of her career as the Chairman of the Art department at Princeton Day School. She founded the Ann Reid gallery at the school which brought a much needed professional viewing space to display students work as well as an international roster of professional Artists. Currently and for the past 30 years she has been working out of her studio in Hopewell at Highland Design Farm in the Sourland Mountains. Her work is greatly inspired by nature and her studio is filled with wonderful specimens from nature such as Hornets nests, frog skeletons, insects, and tree roots.
